I have written everything from short
stories to children's shows to fullblown musicals.
Below you'll find some examples:
Aston English: English
Funhouse
DVD Series 1-6
by Sean Sanczel
Produced: 2008-2009
"English Funhouse" is the
name of
six, half-hour shows I wrote for Aston English.
They were created with Jason Hicks and are shown
to children in China to help them learn English
and also good ol' entertainment.
The shows feature Pencilman and
I and a host of other characters. Click here to

The Adventures
of Pencilman
by Sean Sanczel
Produced: May, 2005 - The
Galaxy Center for the Arts, St. Pete, FL
This is a children's show written
for the live theatre. It's based on my award-winning
3D animations of "Pencilman". The children
who performed in these shows were terrific.
The
Importance of Being Ernie
by Sean Sanczel
Produced: May, 2004 - The
Gorilla Theatre, Tampa, FL
This is my play about Ernie Kovacs,
a broadcast TV pioneer and comedian. He had various
shows on in the '50's and his zany use of the new
medium inspired many, many others.
I starred in the Gorilla Theatre
production as Kovacs, with Jessica Alexander and
Billy Martinez each taking care of a multitude
of other character roles. We used TV screens on
the stage and it was a very "multimedia" experience.

The Big
Finish
a musical comedy by
Sean Sanczel
Produced: June, 2004 - The Galaxy
Center for the Arts
St. Petersburg, FL
The Big Finish is a musical comedy
about politics, falling in love... and the end
of the world. Not just any "end of the world" either...
the actual, biblical "end of the world."
The play features Gabriel the Arch Angel, the President
of the United States, Lucifer and even God Himself
(in an Act of God).
